Kurnool: Chintalapalli Kotesh, a renowned painter from Nandyal town, has dedicated five hours in creating a poignant tribute to around 240 freedom fighters using his own blood as a medium on an A3 drawing sheet. This remarkable act of devotion and artistic expression has garnered widespread praise.

The artwork, depicting Bharat Mata witnessing the sacrifices of the warriors who laid down their lives for the nation, vividly captures key moments from India’s pre-independence movements. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre is portrayed in a striking and memorable manner.

Kotesh has emphasised that the freedom India enjoys today is the result of countless sacrifices made by brave heroes. He reflected on the immense hardships these freedom fighters endured, including insults, beatings and harsh prison sentences, all in their relentless struggle against the British government to secure Independence for the country.
