90.42% students qualify, Hyderabad tops in ECET

Kurnool: Out of 36,369 students registered for the APECET examination, 32,881 students qualified – some 90.42 per cent. The results were released by Sri Krishnadevaraya University in Anantapur on Thursday.

The diploma holders and the B.Sc. (Mathematics) degree holders can enter the second year of an engineering degree course or the second year of a pharmacy degree course through lateral entry by getting qualified in APECET.

M Harshita topped in agriculture engineering, M Shilpa in biotechnology, A Yachendra in ceramic technology, P Ashok in chemical engineering, G Sudhakar Reddy in civil engineering, M Tuhi in computer science and engineering, B Hemanadh Reddy in electronics and communication engineering, A Ganesh in electrical and electronics engineering, A Tharaka Venkata Sai in electronics and instrumentation engineering, K Sriram in mechanical engineering, M Ramesh in metallurgical engineering, B Srihas in mining engineering, K Sri Gayathri in BSc Mathematics, and Krishnareddy Thriveni in pharmacy.

Hyderabad district topped the performance with 95.75 per cent, Krishna with 93.56 per cent while Vizianagaram was at the lowest with 84.59 per cent.

The APECET examination was conducted by JNTUA on behalf of APSCHE. This was the eighth time that APSCHE gave the responsibility of conducting APECET to JNTUA.
