32-year-old Man Arrested Allegedly for Sexually Assaulting Minor girl in Gudivada

Vijayawada: A 32-year-old man allegedly raped a minor girl at Rail Pet area under Gudivada II Town police station limits here on Sunday. The police arrested the accused identified as Joji Babu, who hails from the same Rai Pet locality.

II Town Circle Inspector (CI) Ch Naga Prasad said that the accused who hails from the same community and resides in the same road committed the heinous act against the victim and the victim's residence on Saturday evening when the victim’s parents were not there at the home.

Based on a complaint lodged by the victim's parents on Saturday night, the II Town police booked a case against the accused and arrested the accused on Sunday and sentenced him to judicial remand.
