59% Pass in Intermediate 2nd Year Advanced Supplementary Exams in AP

Vijayawada: A pass of 59 per cent has been registered in the second-year, advanced supplementary examinations in the general and vocational courses, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education AP (BIEAP).

The results of the IPASE May 2024 examinations were released here on Tuesday. A total of 74,868 students have passed. BIEAP controller of examinations, VV Durga Rao, released the results at Tadepalli.

A total of 1,27,190 students (general and vocational courses) appeared for the supplementary examinations held from May 24 to June 1 at 861 examination centres across AP.

Boys outnumbered girl students in the pass percentage by 59 per cent. Girls registered a 58 per cent pass.

The Parvathipuram Manyam district topped with an 84 per cent pass in the general courses category while the Parvathipuram Manyam and SPSR Nellore districts topped with a 79 per cent pass in the vocational courses category.

The combined pass percentage for the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE 2024) and IPASE 2024 for the Intermediate second year in general courses stood at 87 per cent and for the vocational courses at 84 per cent.

Officials have directed the students to apply for a re-verification of the answer scripts from June 20 to June 24. The application fee is `1,000 per subject. Officials said the printed copies of the Intermediate Examination certificates will be made available to the students through their respective colleges from June 30.
