6,000 Police Personnel Deployed, 1,900 CCTVs for Bhavani Deeksha Bandobast

 Vijayawada: NTR District Commissioner of Police SV Raja Sekhara Babu announced the deployment of 6,000 police personnel and 1,900 CCTV cameras for Bhavani Deeksha relinquishment. Speaking from the Command Control Centre at Durga Ghat, he outlined measures to manage crowds and ensure smooth vehicular movement.

Two Homa Gundas and multiple Irumudi stands have been set up to facilitate hassle-free darshan. Drone technology is being used to monitor traffic and prevent congestion. The police, in coordination with RTC and railway authorities, are tracking real-time arrivals and departures of devotees.

Municipal Commissioner HM Dhyanachandra reported the installation of 150 interim toilets at eight locations and deployment of additional sanitation workers. Ten lakh water bottles and five lakh water packets are being distributed to devotees. The multi-department collaboration aims to streamline the event, ensuring devotees’ safety and convenience.
