Anantapur Super Specialty Hospital to get separate administration
Anantapur: To enhance the quality of medical services, the Anantapur Super Speciality Hospital is set to establish a separate administration. During a recent inspection, collector Dr Vinod Kumar reviewed the hospital’s services, which were part of the post-bifurcation development package for the state. Despite the hospital's advanced facilities, patients from Anantapur have expressed concerns due to a shortage of skilled doctors and staff. Currently, the Super Speciality Hospital's administration is combined with that of the Government General Hospital (GGH). Dr. Kumar has instructed GGH Superintendent Dr. Venkateswar Rao and Super Speciality Hospital Superintendent Dr. Subramanyam to separate the administration. This move aims to improve medical services and address staffing shortages by filling all vacant positions.
