Andhra Pradesh: 230 kg of ganja seized, five men from Tamil Nadu held

Vijayawada: The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) sleuths have seized 230 kg of ganja while being smuggled in two cars and arrested five individuals at the Kaza toll plaza in Mangalagiri of Guntur district on Saturday. They confiscated Rs 34,000 in cash and six mobile phones from their possession.

Acting on a tip-off, the SEB sleuths have conducted a vehicle check at the Kaza toll plaza and intercepted two cars. Upon inspection, the SEB personnel found 230 kg of ganja concealed in small packets within the vehicles.
According to the police, the five suspects were identified as Amir, Abdullah Farooq, Karthikeyan, Mallikarjun and Mrudhan, all natives of Tamil Nadu. They were smuggling ganja from the Agency area in Visakhapatnam district.
