Andhra Pradesh: Chief Justice commends services of HC Judge Justice Durga Rao
Vijayawada: Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur of the Andhra Pradesh High Court praised the services of High Court Judge Justice U. Durga Prasada Rao on his superannuation on August 11. Justice Rao has resolved nearly 16,000 cases related to civil, criminal, constitutional, and taxation laws. His judgments are considered models for young lawyers.
During his farewell speech, Justice Rao emphasised the judiciary’s role in providing impartial legal services to the poor and defenseless. He expressed gratitude to those who supported him in delivering legal services and achieving his position.
Advocate general Dammalapati Srinivas, High Court Bar Association president K. Chidambaram, AP High Court Bar Council president N. Dwarakanath Reddy, and additional solicitor general P. Narasimha Sarma commended Justice Rao’s services.
