Swarna Andhra @ 2047 to create prosperous AP: CM

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday launched the 'Swarna Andhra Vision 2047' document, asserting that it has potential to alter the trajectory of the state.

Naidu outlined 10 ambitious goals including the creation of entrepreneurs from every household, ensuring health, wealth and happiness for all, and elimination of poverty as a mantra for the society.

Addressing a massive public meeting on Friday at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada, he said this document marked the beginning of a new chapter in Andhra Pradesh's history.

“The foundation to achieve the goal has been laid with this Swarnandhra-2047. Its introduction within six months of our coming to power reflects an unrelenting initiative and congratulations to all of you on becoming partners in this great objective,” he stated.

Naidu said for the first time in the country, he formulated a vision document in 1999, styled as Vision-2020. “Its results are clearly visible now.”

The CM expressed confidence that the Swarna Andhra-2047 too will be realised. “This vision document is formulated with 10 principles and one vision. Zero Poverty, Employment, Skilling & Human Resources Development, Water Security, Farmer-AgriTech, Global Best Logistics, Cost Optimisation-Energy & Fuel, Product Perfection, Swachh Andhra and Deep Tech-All Walks of Life are the ten principles of Swarna Andhra@2027.”

He expressed confidence that India will grow as the most powerful force in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

Recalling the statement of Pawan Kalyan that “when all others saw only stones in the HiTech city area of Hyderabad, Naidu viewed it with a vision,” the chief minister said his vision was to develop the area on the lines of Singapore, Dubai and New York.

Assuring the farmers of doing justice with the new agri-tech system, the chief minister said farmers will be partners in the industries wherever they are set up. Observing that his aim is to promote Andhra Pradesh as a clean energy hub, Naidu said that along with the vision document, 20 new policies are also being adopted.

The chief minister said that special focus is being laid on decentralisation of power and development. As many as 175 industrial parks will be set up in all the 175 assembly segments, he said.

Expressing the hope that Andhra Valley will be a success story, Naidu called upon the people to become partners to realise this goal.
