Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Legislature is set to transition to a paperless format, adopting the “National e-Vidhan Application” (NeVA) under the Union ministry of parliamentary affairs. The proposal, recently approved by Legislative Council chairman Koyye Moshen Raju and Assembly Speaker Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu, aims to digitise legislative processes.

A tripartite MoU will be signed between the ministry, the Andhra Pradesh Legislature, and the department of IT to advance the project. Training programmes will be organised for legislators and staff. The Centre will cover 60 per centof the project cost.
