Andhra Pradesh: Madhupada School Headmaster Held for Rape
Visakhapatnam: Police arrested the headmaster of Madhupada Government School in Gantyada mandal of Vizianagaram district on charges of sexually assaulting the mother of one of his students. According to reports, the mother had visited the school headmaster Srinivasa Rao on Thursday to rectify errors in her son's school certificates. He suggested to her that they travel together to Srungavarapukota to resolve the issues directly with the relevant authorities. Trusting his words, the woman agreed to accompany him on his motorcycle.
However, Srinivasa Rao drove into an isolated garden, where he sought sexual favour in exchange for correcting her son's documents. Despite her protests and screams, he allegedly raped her at the isolated spot.
The headmaster then dropped her at Pandhara Appanna Junction, warning her that her son’s certificates will get into jeopardy if she reports the matter to anybody.
However, the woman contacted her husband, who rushed to pick her up. Together, they proceeded to the Women’s Police Station at Srungavarapukota and filed a complaint.
The police station registered a case and arrested Srinivasa Rao. Further investigations are on.
