AP Minister Kakani denies TDP leader’s allegations on Bangalore rave party
Nellore: Minister Kakani Goverdhan Reddy on Friday dared senior TDP leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy to give blood samples for conducting a drug test.
Refuting allegations leveled by Chandramohan against him in connection with rave party busted in Bangalore, Goverdhan Reddy told media persons that he was also ready for giving blood samples for drug test. “Let Chandramohan also give blood samples,” he said, alleging that the TDP leader was making unnecessary remarks against him to derive political mileage.
“Chandramohan is unable to face me politically and to tarnish my image he is making allegations against me. As per Chandramohan, my MLA sticker was found in a car at the party and my passport was also in it. But the vehicle is registered in the name of Tummala Venkateswara Rao. After seizing it, the passport should be with the police. But it is with me only,” the Minister clarified.
He dared Chandramohan to prove allegations leveled against him. With respect to the MLA sticker, the Minister said he had already requested the Bangalore police to probe into it and a complaint was also lodged in this regard.
The rave party organized GR farmhouse at Hebbagodi was busted by the Electronic City police in the early hours of Monday and named over 100 to 150 unknown persons as accused in the case. The sleuths of City Crime Branch (CCB) raided the party hosted in the name of "Vasu's Birthday" and subtitled "Sunset to Sunrise" and seized cocaine, 'ecstacy' and MDMA pills and other narcotic substances.
