VIJAYAWADA: BC welfare minister S. Savitha underlined that the state government led by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is working with the ambitious goal of nurturing an entrepreneur in every household.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of K.K. Choudhary as chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada on Wednesday, the minister outlined the state's plans to promote MSMEs through incentives and subsidised loans.

Savitha said the state government's aim is to generate employment and livelihood opportunities for two million youth over the next five years. She pointed out that to achieve this goal, Chandrababu Naidu and minister Nara Lokesh are working tirelessly. She explained that aspiring entrepreneurs, who have completed education from eighth grade to post-graduation, can avail incentives and loans, creating employment opportunities in every district and constituency.

The minister congratulated K.K. Choudhary for becoming the chairman. She said Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh are recognising and rewarding those who have stood by the party during tough times by offering positions in various corporations and boards.

Ministers Kollu Ravindra and B.C. Janardhan Reddy felicitated Choudhary on the occasion. AP Seed Corporation chairman Subba Reddy was among those present.
