Visakhapatnam: The AP Tourism Development Corporation would introduce Knowledge Yatra packages for students to explore the city's attractions.

Visakha, nestled among hills in the coastal belt, boasts a harmonious blend of natural beauty and historical landmarks. In line with the government directives, APTDC plans around five student packages to attract student tourist groups to the city.

Visakhapatnam is a major tourism hub. Srinivas Pani, the Regional Director of APTDC, said and added, “APTDC aims to establish a dedicated tourism circuit for students, featuring prominent sites such as the Museum, Submarine Museum, Sea Harrier, TU 142 Fighter Aircraft Museum, Kailasagiri, Telugu Museum and the Buddhist monuments.”

Students availing these packages can expect comprehensive amenities encompassing food, transportation and accommodation, he told Deccan Chronicle.

Emphasis is placed on extending the learning opportunities to local students in Visakhapatnam, with "plans to lessen their academic pressure through specialised tourism packages." APTDC hopes to replicate this in other districts.
