Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reported an overwhelming response to its newly launched 'Varadhi' initiative, evidenced by the influx of petitions on various grievances received at their party headquarters in Vijayawada on Monday.

In a statement, AP BJP highlighted several key issues brought to light by the public.
Party leaders learned from a petition that under the previous YSRC government, political activists were appointed to positions in the department of animal husbandry, sidelining candidates who had qualified through merit in departmental tests.
Students studying outside Andhra Pradesh have not received their fee reimbursements under the 'Sreshta' scheme. The petitioners are seeking the state government's intervention to ensure these funds are released promptly, providing justice to the affected students.
Students from Sujana College of Pharmacy in Visakhapatnam have submitted a petition after the college was shut down for admitting students without the necessary permissions. They are demanding justice and resolution to their academic plight.
Additional petitions covered issues like land encroachments, unpaid bills for completed works, and various irregularities from the previous administration, as mentioned by AP BJP leader Sadineni Yamani Sarma.
