Man dies at friend's wedding in Kurnool

Kurnool: A 28-year-old man passed away due to a heart attack while presenting a gift at his friend's wedding in Penumada of Krishnagiri mandal on Thursday.

The deceased, identified as Vamsi from Agraharam village, was a close friend of the groom, Ravi Kiran Goud. Both worked as software engineers in Bengaluru. Vamsi had travelled to attend Ravi Kiran's wedding when he suddenly collapsed while handing over a gift.

Efforts to rush him to Dhone Hospital proved futile, as doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.

The untimely death of the groom's friend cast a shadow of grief over the wedding celebrations.
