Call for Efforts to Resolve Issues in Industrial Zones

VIJAYAWADA: Minister for industries T.G. Bharath has called for efforts to resolve the problems in all the industrial zones in the state.

The minister held a review on the industrial zones with the senior officials at Mangalagiri on Saturday. He asked the officials to inspect the old industrial parks and make efforts to generate revenue from them in case the parks were merged into the cities. He asked them to keep a watch to avoid encroachment of such parks.

Maintaining that the industrialists got a positive indication with the brand image of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Bharath said that several industrialists were holding talks for investing in AP. He felt the need on the part of everyone in the department to feel the responsibility to make a congenial atmosphere for attracting investments into the state.

He asked the officials to resolve issues pertaining to land rates and provision of other basic amenities and advised the officials to work with commitment to provide basic amenities similar on the lines of Sri City.

The minister said he would visit the industrial zones in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam soon and asked the officials to bring issues pertaining to any problems to his notice.
