Cancer Hospital Holds Blood Stem Cell Donor Campaign

Visakhapatnam: A blood stem cell donor campaign was organised by HCG cancer hospital in Vizag to commemorate world bone marrow donor day on Saturday. The campaign was aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood stem cell donation and encourage people to register as potential donors, offering hope to patients suffering from bone marrow disorders.

People including those underwent bone marrow transplant described their experience at the event and highlighted the importance of this life-saving act. The event also focused on dispelling myths and misconceptions surrounding blood stem cell donation to help individuals to make informed decisions.
