Kurnool:Industries minister T.G. Bharath directed the authorities to prepare a ward-wise list and provide details of those eligible for the 10,000 TIDCO houses sanctioned on the Jagannatha Gattu near Kurnool city. On Saturday, he reviewed the situation with officials of various departments at the state guest house. He inquired about additional funds required to complete the houses and directed steps to be taken to establish infrastructure quickly so people can live in those houses.

He directed the superintending engineer of irrigation to devise alternative ways for a permanent water solution to ensure people in Kurnool Assembly constituency do not face drinking water problems. Additionally, he announced plans to hold meetings with MLAs from various assembly constituencies regarding irrigation projects in the district.
Bharath said efforts would be made to establish a hostel for minority students in Kurnool city, addressing concerns about distance.
