First e-Cabinet Meeting of AP to be Held Today

Vijayawada: In line with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's directives, the Andhra Pradesh government is set to conduct its first e-Cabinet meeting on August 28 at 11.00 am using an e-Cabinet application developed by the NIC. This will mark the state's inaugural paperless Council of Ministers meeting.

S. Suresh Kumar, Secretary to Government (Poll), along with the ITE & C department and Arun Sharma, deputy director general, Scientist-E, NIC Uttarakhand, conducted a training programme on Tuesday for all OSDs and PS to Ministers on the use and benefits of the e-Cabinet application.

Suresh Kumar highlighted that the e-Cabinet application will enhance operational efficiency, align with eco-friendly practices, and provide real-time access to Cabinet documents. It will also digitise records, monitor the implementation of Cabinet decisions, and offer comprehensive data analytics and reporting. A demonstration of the application will be given to ministers before the meeting on August 28.
