Garment company holds job mela at Madakasira

Anantapur: Bangalore-based exporter Indian Design Garments organised a job mela at Madakasira in Satya Sai district on Sunday to recruit skilled and unskilled employees.

Indian Design Garments is setting up a unit at Madakasira. For this purpose, it is recruiting at least 3,000 skilled and unskilled workers locally.

The job mela was organised at the Yadava Kalyana Mandapam in Madakasira town, where representatives of Indian Design Garments the industry at Madakasira unit conducted interviews.

As already reported, a textile unit established by the government near Cheepuleti village has been lying idle for the past five years. TD incharge Gundumala Thippeswamy, along with MLA M.S. Raju and senior leader Sreenivasa Murthy. succeeded in convincing Indian Design Garments to start their unit at Madakasira.

Thippeswamy underlined that this is the first job mela in Andhra Pradesh after TD has been voted to power in the state. as more than 3000 unemployed including skilled and unskilled youths can get jobs at their native place.
