Growth possible in Maharashtra through NDA: Pawan Kalyan
Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, campaigning for the assembly polls in Maharashtra, has urged the people there to elect an NDA government there.
He drew a parallel between the electoral scene in Maharashtra and his successful attempt in Andhra Pradesh earlier this year to bring change and the defeat YSR Congress. The assembly polls are set for November 20.
Addressing an election rally in Ballarpur on Sunday, Kalyan said India was progressing in the last over 10 years under the NDA government. over the last ten years, India has been on a progressive path. “A strong leadership is crucial for growth,” he said.
"To transform India into a $5 trillion economy, both the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre and a Maha Yuti government in Maharashtra must be act in unison," Kalyan stated.
Kalyan highlighted the diversity of Ballarpur, likening it to "a mini India" where people from various regions and linguistic backgrounds coexisted. He expressed pride in local traditions and said no one should disrespect regional customs and beliefs.
The Jana Sena leader claimed, “India's strength comes from the RSS.” He condemned recent remarks by some individuals from Hyderabad, who allegedly “belittled” the significance of the Sammakka Sarakka festival and Bathukamma. He pledged to defend Sanatan Dharma, saying it “treated all religions equally.”
Pawan Kalyan urged the voters to support Sudheer Mungatwar, the NDA candidate in Ballarpur."
Mungatwar acknowledged the “love and support” he got from both Telugu and Marathi communities. He pledged to continue development initiatives for the welfare of people in Ballarpur.
