Andhra Pradesh HC Grants Bail to Former MLA Pinnelli

Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted bail to former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy in two cases and imposed certain conditions.

A single judge bench, headed by Justice T. Mallikarjuna Rao, held a hearing here on Friday and delivered the verdict, granting bail with a condition to submit two sureties of Rs 50,000 each. The Bench also told Ramakrishna Reddy to attend before the SHO concerned once in a week until the charge-sheet was filed, submit the passport before the magistrate court, not to leave the country without permission and not to threaten anyone from revealing facts in the cases either to the court or to the police.

The court also imposed gag order on him and directed him to share details of his residence and mobile phone number to the investigation officer. The court cautioned that the police will have the liberty to move the court to cancel the bail if the bail conditions were violated.
