Health Minister Reviews Seasonal Disease Control Measures

Vijayawada:Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav reviewed seasonal disease prevalence with senior health officials, including special chief secretary M.T. Krishna Babu, and announced the formation of an expert committee on Tuesday. This committee will develop protocols and SOPs to address waterborne, vector-borne, and seasonal diseases.

The panel, chaired by the health commissioner and with the health director as member convenor, will advise on meeting schedules, field visits, and effective reporting methodologies. It will also recommend clinical protocols, improve ICU care management, and identify best practices to prevent disease outbreaks.

The committee aims to enhance accountability and disease management across relevant departments and agencies.
