Infant missing from Bodhan bus stand

A 10-month-old baby boy belonging to a beggar woman was found missing near Bodhan bus depot in the early hours of Tuesday. According to Bodhan town circle inspector V. Venkatnarayana, a woman beggar at Bodhan bus stand went out to attend nature’s call in the early hours of Tuesday by putting the infant near the bushes at bus depot.
After coming back, she found the boy missing and lodged a complaint with the police. After searching, police found a few body parts of the infant in the same location and sent them for post-mortem. CI Venkatnarayana said that it was yet to be confirmed that the body parts belong to human or not. If the post-mortem report confirmed that the body parts were of a baby, there were chances that the missing boy might be attacked by stray dogs, he said.
