Vijayawada: Minister for BC welfare, S. Savitha, emphasised the government’s commitment to providing employment opportunities to the state’s unemployed youth during her inspection of the AP Khadi Village Industries Board at Mangalagiri on Saturday. She announced plans to offer loans to 25,000 unemployed individuals annually through the Board, including support for the illiterate.

Savitha also revealed upcoming awareness programmes across the state and plans to establish training centres in each district to enhance access to the Board’s services. She expressed concern over the prevalence of ganja and drugs, attributing their use to the lack of employment opportunities among youth, and pledged the government’s efforts to secure a brighter future for them by providing jobs.
