Minister Durgesh Says Simhachalam Laddus Too Adulterated
Kakinada:Tourism minister Kandula Durgesh on Sunday charged that like the Tirupati laddu, the prasadam laddu at Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam in Simhachalam of Visakhapatnam too is facing allegations of adulteration. Participating in the “Idi Manchi Prabhutvam” programme at Nidadavole in East Godavari District on Sunday, he maintained that the previous YSRC government tasted a bitter defeat because it spoiled the Tirupati laddu prasadam.
The minister accused YSRC of now using diversionary politics to cover the mistakes it had committed during its rule.
He underlined that to protect the sentiments of Hindus, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has taken up a “Prayaschit Deeksha.”
Durgesh maintained that the NDA government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will fulfil its promise of providing free bus facility to women in APSRTC buses soon, after launching the distribution of three cylinders free of cost from Diwali.
The minister said Godavari waters will be supplied soon to the people of Nidadavole constituency for drinking under the Jal Jeevan Mission programme.
