Visakhapatnam: The Indian Navy’s frontline destroyer, INS Mysore, celebrated a momentous occasion on Sunday- its 25th year of service. This “silver jubilee” marks a quarter-century of dedication to national security for the indigenously designed and built Delhi-class destroyer.Throughout its illustrious career, INS Mysore has been a pillar of the Eastern Fleet, participating in crucial missions and earning well-deserved recognition.

The ship fosters a strong bond between the Navy and Army through its affiliation with the Madras Regiment.

To mark this milestone, a noble blood donation camp was held onboard, with a commendable participation of around 250 personnel and their families. As messages of congratulations poured in, one sentiment echoed: May the crew of INS Mysore, guided by their motto "Na Bhibheti Kadachan" (Always Fearless), continue their legacy of success and unwavering service.
