NCC Concludes Scuba Diving Adventure Course 2024

Visakhapatnam: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) successfully concluded its Scuba Diving Adventure Course, held from December 15 to 24, 2024. Organised by the four (Andhra) Naval Medical Units of the NCC, Visakhapatnam Group Headquarters, the event was conducted under the NCC Directorate (AP & T) in collaboration with the Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, CCDT (V), and INS Circars.

The course saw 121 cadets, including 89 boys and 32 girls, participate in underwater exploration activities aimed at building adventure, discipline, and resilience. Training in snorkelling and scuba diving formed the core of the course.

At the closing ceremony on Wednesday, Commodore Happy Mohan, VSM, Commanding Officer of INS Circars, lauded the cadets for their enthusiasm. He emphasised the role of adventure training in developing leadership and teamwork skills, urging cadets to apply the lessons learned in their future endeavours.

The course provided cadets with a unique opportunity to experience scuba diving and fostered a sense of community and personal growth.
