Hyderabad: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the last date for submitting applications to start new PG medical courses. This includes establishing standalone PG institutions and increasing seats in existing institutions for 2025-2026.

As per a notification, the deadline for receiving applications has been extended to 6 pm on December 26. This decision follows earlier public notices on September 18, 2024 and subsequent extensions on October 16, November 8, and November 22. The extension complies with the directives of the Karnataka High Court.

The NMC also clarified that all other terms and conditions outlined in the September 18 notice remained unchanged. Medical institutions and stakeholders have been requested to take note of the revised deadline and submit their applications promptly.
