North Eastern police trainees visit ENC in Vizag for naval operations insight

Visakhapatnam: Fifteen police trainees from the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) in Umsaw, Meghalaya, visited the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. This visit, coordinated by the Naval Officer-in-Charge of Andhra Pradesh, aimed to provide the trainees with valuable insights into naval operations and the various threats and challenges present in the maritime domain.

During their time at the ENC, the trainees participated in an interactive presentation that covered the roles and responsibilities of the Indian Navy. They received briefings on the operational, administrative, and training commitments of the Eastern Naval Command. Additionally, the trainees had the opportunity to tour frontline naval ships and submarines, enhancing their understanding of naval capabilities and operations.
