NTR Fan Dies of Cardiac Arrest

Anantapur: A fan of Telugu film star Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popularly known as Jr. NTR, died of cardiac arrest while watching the first show of the movie Devara at a theatre in Kadapa on Friday. The deceased was identified as Mastan Vali of Jamanpalle village in CK Dinne mandal of Kadapa district. Mastan Vali went to Kadapa to watch the first show, which was exclusively screened for fans.

While watching the movie, Mastan Vali was shouting and enjoying the film along with other fans when he suddenly collapsed in the theatre and fell unconscious. His friends immediately shifted him to a nearby private hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. The family members broke down in tears following the tragic incident.

Meanwhile, a tense situation prevailed at another cinema theatre in Kadapa town after huge crowds of fans entered the theatre for a midnight show on Thursday night. The overcrowding, which far exceeded the capacity of the theatre, led to tensions as the fans who had purchased tickets were unable to watch the movie and expressed anger towards those who entered the theatre without tickets. Two groups clashed with each other. As the situation escalated, police intervened and dispersed the crowd from the theatre premises.
