Vijayawada: The Supreme Court has granted interim relief from arrest to the former chairman of AP FiberNet, Goutham Reddy, and directed the police not to arrest him until further orders, with the hearing in the case set for Thursday in New Delhi.
The petitioner’s counsel, Siddartha Dave and Allanki Ramesh argued that the Telugu Desam government had falsely charged their client with an attempt to murder.
The court observed how the AP government could file a caveat in the case and instructed it to file a counter affidavit within a week.
