VIJAYAWADA: Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan will use his residence in Mangalagiri as a camp office instead of the government-allotted building.

Pawan Kalyan on Thursday thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for allocating a spacious place (irrigation building) in Vijayawada to use it as a camp office.

Pawan Kalyan appealed to the Chief Minister to take back the building allotted in Vijayawada along with the furniture so that he can use his residence in Mangalagiri as a camp office.

Pawan Kalyan stated that everyone welcomes the Centre’s decision to provide free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh to all above 70 years irrespective of their economic status. “By expanding the 'Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana' scheme, the Centre has announced to provide free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh to all above 70 years from which about six crore senior citizens will benefit. Many families are concerned about the rising cost of health due to old age. This situation can be addressed now by the new scheme brought by the Centre. It will give great relief to 4.5 crore families across the country.”

DyCM Pawan Kalyan said, “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing a noble scheme to benefit everyone through free health insurance regardless of social and economic discrimination. Through this scheme, it has been once again proved that the NDA government at the Centre always strives for the welfare and development of the people of the country.”
