PM visit: Visakhapatnam collector reviews preparations
The collector said the Governor would be accommodated at the Novotel hotel and the Chief Minister at the Port Guest House
Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam district collector M.N. Harindhira Prasad held a review meeting with local MLAs and officials on the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visakhapatnam on November 29.
Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat, Visakhapatnam West MLA and government whip Gana Babu, Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao, North MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju, Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu and officials held lengthy discussions on issues such as road shows, assembly of people at AU Engineering College grounds, seating arrangements for the public, transport facilities, and others. Public representatives and officials gave suggestions on the arrival of VIPs from north Andhra districts, welcome arrangements for the Prime Minister, a road show, and the provision of drinking water, food, and other minimum facilities to the people.

If the Prime Minister is travelling by road, the schedule would be that after arriving at INS Dega by air at 3.40 pm on November 29, he will travel by road via Convent Junction, railway station, Sampath Vinayak Temple, Tycoon Hotel Junction, Siripuram Junction, and reach the main venue from SP Bungalow Road at 4.40 pm. In this sequence, a 500-meter roadshow will be organised from Tycoon Junction to SP Bungalow. After the speeches of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, the Prime Minister will address the people from 5.25 pm to 5.43 pm. He will then return to the airport from the venue at 5.45 pm.
