Polavaram and Chintalapudi LIS to be completed in 5 years, Says MP

Kakinada:Eluru Lok Sabha member Putta Mahesh Kumar announced that the Polavaram project and the Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) will be completed within the next five years. Speaking at a Karthika Vana Samaradhana program in Nuzvid, Mahesh Kumar assured that the NDA government is committed to completing these vital projects.

The Union government has already released funds for the Polavaram project, with work expected to commence in December. Mahesh Kumar also addressed concerns of mango farmers in the region, noting a proposal to establish mango-based processing units and provide a minimum support price to help boost employment and the local economy. He also paid tribute to Nara Rama Murthy Naidu, the late brother of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, offering condolences and acknowledging his contributions to the state.
