Prakasam district: Yerragondapalem sub-registrar suspended

Kurnool: Hemalatha, the joint sub-registrar of Yerragondapalem in Prakasam district, has been suspended by the government due to allegations of misconduct in the registration of local land. The suspension followed a report submitted by District Registrar A. Balanjaneulu to Collector A. Thameem Ansaria, indicating that Hemalatha acted contrary to regulations.

Based on the findings, the DIG of Stamps and Registrations, Pushpalatha, issued the suspension order for Hemalatha on Wednesday night. Officials have also stated that a criminal case will be filed against her pending the outcome of the investigation.
