Ramachandrapuram to will become a healthy constituency: Minister

Labour minister Vasamsetti Subhash underlined on Tuesday that Ramachandrapuram will become a “healthy constituency.” Speaking to media at Ramachandrapuram on Tuesday, he mentioned that many people in the constituency are suffering from haemoglobin, cardiac, cancer and other problems.

The minister said he aims to ensure that no one suffers from haemoglobin deficiency by supplying them nutrition kits to increase their haemoglobin levels. Cardiac and cancer diseases will also be reduced among people, he stated.

Subhash said that a Healthy Heart Mission will be launched to reduce cardiac problems with the help of medical officers. He disclosed that a private company has come forward to mobilise funds as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts. 
The minister said that awareness programmes will be conducted in every village against liquor, smoking, and psychological stress. He announced that a blood bank, orphan homes and a dialysis unit will be set up in the constituency.
Subhash said Utsav-2025 Sankranti Sambaralu will be celebrated in the constituency from January 12 to January 14 at the VSM College in Ramachandrapuram.
