Satya Sai SP launches annual sports meet

Anantapur: Satya Sai district SP V. Rathna observed that sports and games foster camaraderie and a cheerful atmosphere among staff, promoting a healthy lifestyle. She inaugurated the police annual sports and games meet of Satya Sai district at the police parade grounds in Puttaparthi on Wednesday.

Satya Sai district collector Chethan formally launched the event by hoisting the flag and lighting the ceremonial lamp. The Collector and SP marked the commencement of the meet by participating in the opening activities on the grounds.

A total of 150 police personnel from various categories are competing in eight different events as part of the annual gathering.
