Vijayawada: A special Lok Adalat will be held from July 27th to August 3 to settle pending cases before the Supreme Court of India.This effort is a collaboration between the Andhra Pradesh High Court and the State Legal Services Authority (SLSA).

As per a statement released by M. Babitha, member secretary of the SLSA, both entities are actively involved in taking necessary steps and providing assistance to parties involved in these pending cases.
To ensure accessibility, pre-Lok Adalat sittings will be conducted in either a physical or virtual format at the concerned district or state level. This allows parties to conveniently participate in these preliminary discussions.
Both parties involved in a pending Supreme Court case can express their interest in referring the case to the Special Lok Adalat. They can do so by providing their consent along with relevant case details. Advocates can also recommend suitable pending cases before the Supreme Court for settlement through this special Lok Adalat.
