Vijayawada:Former minister Alapati Rajendra Prasad has appealed for support in his candidacy for the Krishna and Guntur Districts Graduates MLC election, pledging to advocate for the development of the real estate sector by addressing its pressing issues. Rajendra Prasad spoke as a special guest at the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) general body meeting in Vijayawada, where NAREDCO Central Zone President Sandeep Mandava announced him as the ruling alliance’s candidate for the MLC election scheduled in March next year.

In his address, Rajendra Prasad criticised the YSR Congress’s governance over the past five years, claiming it had weakened public systems and left communities in difficult conditions under Jagan’s rule. He asserted that no sector had seen growth and credited the TD, Jana Sena, and BJP coalition government led by CM Chandrababu Naidu for prioritising public welfare. He highlighted the increase in fixed assets as evidence of growth under Naidu’s leadership, adding that beneficiaries of welfare schemes implemented in the first hundred days of Naidu’s rule were pleased with the outcomes.

Rajendra Prasad urged NAREDCO representatives and all graduates of the erstwhile Krishna and Guntur districts to register as voters and support him as the alliance candidate for a resounding victory. NAREDCO members responded positively, agreeing to unite in addressing their industry’s issues. NAREDCO Executive Vice President Paruchuri Kiran, Treasurer Chava Ramesh, Central Zone General Secretary SV Ramana, Treasurer Potla Krishna, and other members attended the meeting.
