TN fishing boat stranded in sea

Visakhapatnam: A mechanised fishing boat from Tamil Nadu, carrying 10 fishermen, was reported to be stranded at sea after their engine developed a fault. The boat is currently located 85 nautical miles off Kakinada, sources said.

A source from the Indian Coast Guard in Visakhapatnam stated that a rescue operation is underway and, as of now, all 10 fishermen are safe and in good health. The vessel is expected to be brought back in the early hours of Monday, the source added.
