Torrential rain hits North Andhra

Vizianagaram: Due to a weather depression, heavy rainfall has been occurring for the past two days in Northern Andhra. Chipurupalli in Vizianagaram has recorded the highest rainfall of 10.25 cm from Sunday morning to night at 7. The transport system has been severely impacted due to overflowing rivulets, lakes, and other water bodies in the erstwhile Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.
