Two killed after car veers off road and plunges into stream in Pamarru

VIJAYAWADA: Two individuals died when the car they were travelling in veered off the road and plunged into a stream at Kondayapalem on the Gudivada-Pamarru road within the jurisdiction of the Pamarru police station. The deceased have been identified as Talasani Siva Rama Krishna (48) and Tummala Gopala Krishna (50), residents of Poranki and Davuluru villages in Krishna district.

According to Pamarru Sub-Inspector Ch. Avinash, the accident occurred around 4:30 PM on Thursday as the two men were driving towards Pamarru from Gudivada. The car suddenly lost control and fell into the local stream at Kondayapalem. The SI reported that both individuals died before locals could rescue them.

Upon receiving an alert from nearby residents, Pamarru police arrived at the scene, retrieved the bodies and the car, and transported the bodies to a hospital for post-mortem examinations. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
