VIJAYAWADA: Undi MLA-elect Raghu Rama Krishna Raju (RRR) on Monday filed a complaint with Guntur police against former CB-CID chief PV Sunil Kumar, IPS officer Seetharamanjaneyulu and outgoing chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In his complaint to the SP, Guntur, former Narasapuram MP brought up allegations like attempt to murder, custodial torture and criminal conspiracy against Seetharamanjaneyulu, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, CB CID Additional SP R. Vijaya Paul.
In the complaint, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju said a false case was registered against him by the CB CID police of the AP Government under FIR 12/2021 dated May 14, 2021 followed by his arrest on the same date.
“The CB CID police arrested me at my Hyderabad residence and shifted me to CB-CID regional office in Guntur. During my detention, I was subjected to physical abuse, including being beaten with a rubber belt, lathi and an attempt to suffocate me by sitting on my chest and choking my heart,” he said.
In the complaint, he further alleged that the then Guntur government general hospital superintendent Dr Prabhavathi collided with police officers and concocted the medical reports and gave falsified medical reports that there were no injuries on my body to cover up the atrocities committed by the police.
