Village Health Clinic Inaugurated in Chellayapalem

Tirupati:A new Village Health Clinic was inaugurated in Chellayapalem village of Buchireddypalem mandal in Nellore district on Friday. The clinic was formally opened by Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy.

During the inauguration, MLA Prashanthi Reddy highlighted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's efforts to provide free health services to every village. She emphasised the NDA government's commitment to offering free medical services to all citizens.

The Village Health Clinic will be staffed by a health provider, two Auxiliary Nurse Midwives, a health assistant, and three ASHA workers. MLA Reddy announced that senior doctors would visit twice a month via the 104 Mobile Medical Service to offer specialised care.

The clinic is equipped with laboratory facilities for 14 types of health check-ups and will stock 105 different medicines for various ailments. Services will include continuous care for pregnant women and new mothers, vaccinations for infants, and free medication for chronic conditions. MLA Prashanthi Reddy urged Chellayapalem residents to make full use of the clinic's services.

In a related announcement, MLA Reddy revealed that the VPR Foundation would conduct free cancer screenings for women aged 35 and above across Kovur constituency, starting from September 4. She encouraged women to participate in this month-long mobile cancer screening initiative, highlighting the importance of early detection.
