BRS leaders are habitual liars, says Bhatti Vikramarka
Bhatti went on to explain that the Congress-ruled government in Telangana was buying the grains from the farmers 15 days in advance
Hyderabad: Telangana deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka said that the government was also buying rain-soaked grain. He spoke at a media conference held at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Bhatti said that the BRS party was spreading false news against the government regarding the purchase of grain. Lying has become a habit for BRS partymen, he asserted.
Bhatti went on to explain that the Congress-ruled government in Telangana was buying the grains from the farmers 15 days in advance. Around 7,215 buying centres have been set up, which way more than the previous years. The Telangana Deputy CM added that the then government (BRS), did not buy wet or sprouted grain.
Bhatti also assured farmers of buying the last grain of paddy and asked them not to worry. "We also give MSP for wet and sprouted grains. We are providing money to paddy farmers within three days. Farmers should be informed about rain forecasts from time to time," he added.
Meanwhile, the Opposition is criticizing the Telangana government saying it was giving only Rs 500 bonus for the fine rice grain to which the deputy chief minister said that their govenment started off with rice and would extend it further.
