Chintapandu Naveen alias Teenmaar Mallanna — By Arrangement

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Contributory Pension Scheme Employees Union on Friday declared their support to Teenmar Mallanna alias Chintapandu Naveen, who is contesting as a candidate of the Congress party for the combined Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal District MLC by-elections.

In the state executive committee meeting held on Friday, the state president of the association Sthitaprajna, state general secretary Kalwal Srikanth and state treasurer Naresh Goud said in a joint statement that they are supporting Chintapandu Naveen in the by-election. Accordingly, the graduates of CPS employees and teacher families would extend support for the victory of Mallanna, who is working to abolish CPS and restore the old pension method, with their first priority vote.

In this meeting, Sthitaprajna handed over the  pension documents of deceased employees of the R&B department to their families. It was decided to report the problems faced in the family pension of the CPS employees to the government and to ensure that the family pension of the CPS employees is sanctioned just like by the Karnataka state government.

It was decided that the CPS union should solve all the service related problems faced by CPS teachers in the future. Presidents, chief secretaries, treasurers and state officials of 33 districts participated in the meeting.
