Addressing a press conference, Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu said that Yadav studied up to intermediate in his village. In 2019, he along with his brother Murali came to Hyderabad and worked in a company at Bibinagar.
After three years, he left the job and went back to his native village and eking his livelihood by attending to farming works. Yadav’s village is situated on the border area to Bihar and he gradually developed contacts with illegal firearm manufacturers.
As his earnings were not sufficient to meet his needs, Yadav hatched a plan to procure country made weapons for low price and planned to sell the same in Hyderabad to needy persons at high price. As per his plan, Yadav procured three different types of weapons from one Sampath Yadav of Shapur village of Bhojpur in Bihar.
He kept the same with him to sell in Hyderabad to persons through his known contacts. While Yadav was moving suspiciously in Abmbedhkar Nagar bus stop, the Bhongir SOT along with Jawaharnagar police arrested him.
