Belagavi: In a moment that captured the essence of heartfelt gratitude, Akka Thayi, an elderly woman from Suttatti village in Raybag Taluk, showered blessings on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Belagavi airport. With a warm smile, she, accompanied by other women from the village, wished him the strength to continue leading the state, calling him the leader who "feeds the state."

Two days ago Akka Thayi had organized a grand meal for her entire village, using the money she received from the Gruha Lakshmi scheme. When Chief Minister Siddaramaiah honored her during his visit to Belagavi on Monday, her words resonated deeply: "May your power grow, and may you rule not just our state, but the nation. You are the one who takes care of us all."
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah tasted the sweet offered by Akka Thayi.
Surrounded by women from her village, Akka Thayi’s blessings were accompanied by prayers to Goddess Lakshmi. "We prayed for your success, for the removal of all obstacles in your path," they said, expressing appreciation for the pro-common man programs of the government.
Visibly moved by their warmth, Siddaramaiah humbly accepted their blessings. "May your blessings continue," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "
"As long as our government stands, the Gruha Lakshmi scheme will not stop. Every month, you will continue to receive this support," he assured.
Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar presented Akka Thayi and the other women with sarees and traditional 'arishina-kumkuma' offerings, honoring their spirit of gratitude.
